A BIT ABOUT US AND OUR DREAMS

Better Together International was born from a simple belief: when people come together in love and compassion, lives can be transformed.

Our story began in 2013, when founder Jonathan Steers met Luxon Boursiquot, the director of Life Christian Orphanage in Haiti. Luxon had opened the orphanage after the devastating 2010 earthquake, giving children who had lost everything a place to belong. When Jonathan met those children, he saw not just their need — but their potential. That moment sparked a lifelong commitment to help them grow, learn, and thrive.

What started as one act of compassion has grown into a movement of hope. Today, Better Together International ensures that children in Haiti receive nutritious meals, quality education, and the love and support they need to dream beyond survival.

But Haiti is just the beginning. Our vision reaches far beyond — to empower communities everywhere, meeting urgent needs and building pathways to lasting change through education, opportunity, and human connection.
